Newsmax is Real News for Real People

It is one of the greatest stories ever told.

Almighty God picks the Jews, his Chosen People and gives them the Promised Land.

This fabled land has been part of the religious fabric for Christians and Jews – and one of the most controversial and disputed areas in the entire world.

Now Hollywood icon and actor Jon Voight brings his docuseries, "The Land of Israel With Jon Voight: God's Story," exclusively to Newsmax.

Through his 10-part series, the Academy Award-winning actor literally walks and talks his viewers through the Holy Land and Biblical stories.

You will see where Abraham, Samson, David and Goliath, Solomon and the great prophets lived and where the Jewish people prepared for the coming of the Messiah.

Voight believes Israel and the Holy Land remain at the very spiritual center of mankind.

He says President Trump's achievement of the Abraham Accords, the 2020 peace deal between Israel and Arab states, sparked his interest.

Israel and the Arab nations begin with Abraham – the father of Isaac, the Jewish patriarch, and also Ishmael, the father of the Arab peoples.

His first episode of "The Land of Israel" begins with Abraham on Mount Gerizim with an epic view over Shechem, and then travels through Shiloh to Abraham's Well, Ein Avdat, Manoach's Altar, Ancient Zorah lookout, Nebi Yakin, and the palace remains in the City of David.

The program finishes up back in Shiloh and the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

Jon Voight’s journey is God’s journey.

Join him for this powerful series "The Land of Israel."

ABOUT JON VOIGHT:

Jon Voight is one of the greatest actors alive.

He was born December 29, 1938, in Yonkers, New York and first earned widespread acclaim for his role in 1969's Midnight Cowboy, and an Academy Award in 1979 for the Vietnam War drama Coming Home.

Voight was also nominated for an Academy Award for his work in 1985's Runaway Train.
